VEREIT is a full-service real estate operating company which owns and manages one of the largest portfolios of single-tenant commercial properties in the U.S. Omitting the square feet of one redevelopment property and including the pro rata share of square feet and annualized rental income from the Company’s unconsolidated joint ventures, the Company has 3,858 retail, restaurant, office and industrial operating properties with an aggregate of 89.5 million square feet, of which 99.1% was leased as of December 31, 2019, with a weighted-average remaining lease term of 8.3 years. VEREIT’s business model provides equity capital to creditworthy corporations in return for long-term leases on their properties. Substantially all of our real estate operations are conducted through the Operating Partnership. VEREIT Inc. is the sole general partner and holder of 99.9% of the common partnership interests in the Operating Partnership (the “OP Units”) as of December 31, 2019.
