Bobbin for automatic inflator
4 May 21
A bobbin assembly for an automatic inflator including a generally cylindrical wall, a plurality of arms positioned in a ring centered about and parallel to a longitudinal axis of the bobbin, each arm being pivotably connected to a rim of the cylindrical wall by a living hinge, at least one of the arms including a radial seat extending toward the longitudinal axis of the bobbin to form an annular seat having a diameter to retain a head of a spring-loaded actuator pin of the automatic inflator to hold the spring-loaded actuator pin in a “cocked” position, a toroidal pill positioned between a lumen of the cylindrical wall and the ringed arms to retain the arms in position centered about and parallel to the longitudinal axis of the bobbin such that the annular seat maintains the diameter to retain the head of the spring-loaded actuator pin, thereby holding the spring-loaded actuator pin in the “cocked” position and a web interconnecting at least one of adjacent pairs of the arms allowing the paired arms to pivot outwardly via their respective living hinges in unison.

Swabable Valve With Curvilinear Valve Stem
11 Mar 21
A swabable valve (10) comprising a valve stem (100) that collapses into a valve body (12), said valve body (12) including a generally cylindrical reduced diameter section (18) having a generally circular rim, said valve stem (100) having a generally cylindrical reduced diameter portion (38) that extends fully into said cylindrical reduced diameter section (18) of said valve body (12), said cylindrical reduced diameter portion (38) including a through-slit (52) that opens when said valve stem (100) collapses into said valve body (12), said valve stem (100) having a concave curvilinear surface (102) that is substantially flush with said circular rim of said cylindrical reduced diameter section (18) of said valve body (12) when said valve stem (100) is not collapsed into said valve body (12); said concave curvilinear upper surface (102) of said valve stem (100) extending rim-to-rim within said cylindrical reduced diameter section (18) of said valve body (12).

Filtered Vacuum Relief Vent Valve
28 Jan 21
An embodiment includes a valve comprising: a valve channel that couples a valve input to a valve output; a one-way valve included within the channel; a filter; a first pressure relief port, wherein the first pressure relief port is configured to relieve negative pressure when pressure at the valve output is less than pressure at the valve input; a second pressure relief port, wherein the second pressure relief port is configured to relieve positive pressure when pressure at the valve output is greater than pressure at the valve input; wherein the one-way valve includes a monolithic portion that simultaneously seals the channel, the first pressure relief port, and the second pressure relief port; wherein the filter covers the first pressure relief port.
