Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers
(b) On July 6, 2022, Taha Jangda, a member of the Board of Directors (“Board”) of Sonic Foundry, Inc. (“the Company”) since April 2021, notified the Company of his intention to resign from the Board of Directors effective July 15, 2022. Mr. Jangda’s decision was not related to any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices.
Mark Burish, Chairman of the Board said, “We thank Taha for his valuable insight and perspective during our transformation into a high growth company. It has been an honor to work with Taha and on behalf of the board, I thank him for his leadership and wish him all the best.”
