NOTICE TO THE MARKET
Companhia de Saneamento Básico do Estado de São Paulo – SABESP (Company or Sabesp), with securities traded on stock exchanges in São Paulo and New York, in accordance with CVM Instruction 308/99, as amended, informs that on October 7, 2020, Grant Thornton Auditores Independentes (“Grant Thornton”) was hired as its independent auditor for the years ending December 31, 2020, 2021 and 2022, replacing KPMG Auditores Independentes (“KPMG”).
Grant Thornton’s activities will begin with the review of the Quarterly Information (“ITRs”) reporting for the third quarter 2020.
The appointment occurred due to the expiration of the contract with KPMG, and a bidding process was carried out, whose winning company was Grant Thornton.
Additionally, Sabesp informs that obtained the consent of KPMG in relation to the justification for the change.
