Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On January 28, 2022, Vivek Patel notified Yelp Inc. (the “Company”) of his decision to step down from his position as Chief Product Officer, effective February 14, 2022. The Company intends to enter into a transition agreement with Mr. Patel, pursuant to which he will remain employed by the Company in an advisory capacity through May 20, 2022.
Item 8.01 Other Events.
Also effective February 14, 2022, Craig Saldanha will join the Company as its new Chief Product Officer. Mr. Saldanha comes to the Company from Amazon.com, Inc., where he led product and engineering teams for Prime Video, and, prior to that, Intel Corp.
