I hope this email finds you well!
First, while we might not be able to share everything, I am looking forward to hosting our virtual Influence Council session in May—currently scheduled for May 12th. Before then, I wanted to share some updates and as we’ve been doing, let’s jump on the phone in real time to work through any questions.
The Twitter Board has just announced that they have accepted Elon Musk’s offer to purchase the company.
The Board undertook a thoughtful, comprehensive, and deliberate process to review Elon Musk’s proposal. They believe the transaction announced is the best path forward for Twitter’s stockholders.
For me, this process makes it clear how important Twitter is in the world and how much what we do matters to people. The service has never been more important to our customers around the world, and I believe the work our teams do on behalf of all of you is critical.
While the Board has signed the deal, there are still more steps to take in order to close. These sometimes take quarters, but it is business as usual for us right now. The team and I will keep communication on-going and fluid.
What you can expect is to have our partnership in every way to help drive awareness and consideration when you want to launch something new, connect with what’s happening or get people to buy. So we remain focused on delivering priority solutions in full funnel marketing, measurement, shopping, and brand safety.
Leadership at every level of our Customers organization are here for you and there for each other.
Thank you, as always, for your incredible partnership!
All my best,
