Item 8.01. Other Events
In accordance with the offering documents and the intention of Guggenheim Credit Income Fund 2016 T (“GCIF 2016 T”) and Guggenheim Credit Income Fund 2019 (“GCIF 2019”) (GCIF 2016 T and GCIF 2019, collectively, the “Feeder Funds”) to provide substantial shareholder liquidity on or before December 31, 2022 and December 31, 2026 respectively, on March 30, 2021, the Boards of Trustees of Guggenheim Credit Income Fund (the “Master Fund”) and the Feeder Funds (the “Board”) approved respective Plans of Liquidation for each Feeder Fund (each, a “Plan”). In accordance with the Plans, the Board has declared the first liquidating distributions per share of $0.98, $1.05 and $2.91 for the Master Fund, GCIF 2016 T and GCIF 2019 respectively. The Net Asset Values of the companies will decrease by the amount of the distributions respectively. As such, the value on shareholder’s investment statement will decrease as liquidating distributions are paid.
The distributions for the Master Fund will have a record date of June 1, 2021 and a payment date of June 3, 2021.
The Net Asset Values and shareholder total returns will be updated in the companies’ next 10-Q filings.
