This Amendment No. 1 to Form 8-K is an amendment to the Current Report on Form 8-K filed by Halliburton Company on February 17, 2021 concerning the election of Bhavesh V. Patel as a member of our Board of Directors. The sole purpose of this Amendment No. 1 is to disclose the appointment of Mr. Patel to certain Committees of the Board.

On May 19, 2021, at a meeting of the Board of Directors, the Board appointed Bhavesh V. Patel to its Audit and Health, Safety and Environment Committees.
