Senior Vice President and General Counsel Transition
On November 8, 2021, Roberta B. Aronson, Senior Vice President and General Counsel of National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation (the “Company”), notified the Company of her intent to retire as a full-time employee and the Company’s chief legal officer. Ms. Aronson joined the Company in 1995, and has served as the Company’s Senior Vice President and General Counsel since 2013.
The Company and Ms. Aronson have agreed that she will continue serving in her capacity as Senior Vice President and General Counsel on a full-time basis until the earlier of (i) March 31, 2022 or (ii) such time after January 31, 2022 when a successor chief legal officer has been appointed and begun serving in such capacity. The Company expects to consider internal and external successor candidates during the interim period. Following the cessation of her full-time service, the Company expects that Ms. Aronson will continue providing services to the Company on a part-time employee basis, with her current compensation commensurately reduced to reflect part-time employee status.
