New Accounting Pronouncements and Changes in Accounting Principles [Abstract] | |
New Accounting Pronouncements and Changes in Accounting Principles [Text Block] | NOTE 2 RECENTLY ISSUED ACCOUNTING PRONOUNCEMENTS In May 2014, the Financial Accounting Standards Board (“FASB”) issued Accounting Standards Update (“ASU”) No. 2014-09, Revenue from Contracts with Customers (Topic 606). The guidance in this update supersedes the revenue recognition requirements in Topic 605, Revenue Recognition , and most industry-specific guidance throughout Industry topics of the Codification. Update supersedes some cost guidance included in Subtopic 605-35 , Revenue Recognition - Construction-Type and Production-Type Contracts. Under the new guidance, an entity should recognize revenue to depict the transfer of promised goods or services to customers in an amount that reflects the consideration to which the entity expects to be entitled in exchange for those goods or services. In August 2015, the FASB issued ASU 2015-14, which deferred the effective date to annual reporting periods beginning after December 15, 2017. Early adoption is permitted as of the original effective date in ASU No. 2014-09, which is for annual reporting periods beginning after December 15, 2016. We are currently evaluating the impact of adopting the guidance on our consolidated financial statements. In April 2015, the FASB issued ASU No. 2015-03, “Interest Imputation of Interest (Subtopic 835-30) Simplifying the Presentation of Debt Issuance Costs.” consolidated balance sheet In July 2015, the FASB issued ASU No. 2015-11, Simplifying the Measurement of Inventory Inventory Except as noted above, the Company’s management does not believe that recent codified pronouncements by the Financial Accounting Standards Board (“FASB”) (including its EITF), the AICPA or the Securities and Exchange Commission will have a material impact on the Company’s current or future consolidated financial statements. |
