The Fund follows the authoritative guidance (U.S. generally accepted accounting principles) for fair value measurements. The guidance establishes a framework for measuring fair value and a hierarchy for inputs and techniques used in measuring fair value that maximizes the use of observable inputs and minimizes the use of unobservable inputs and techniques by requiring that the most observable inputs be used when available.
