Basis of Accounting [Text Block] | Note 1. Basis of Presentation General First Community Bankshares, Inc. (the “Company”), a financial holding company, was founded in 1989 2018. 1874. The initial indicator of OTTI for debt securities is a decline in fair value below book value and the severity and duration of the decline.
