Vehicle Braking Systems and Methods
20 May 21
A method in which at least one piezoceramic sensor, which converts every mechanical force to which it is subjected into an electrical signal and having a Curie temperature higher than 200° C., is solidarized directly onto the surface of a metal support element of a vehicle braking element, which during use faces a vehicle element to be braked.
Motor Drive Unit
20 May 21
A motor assembly for driving a pump or rotary device features a power plane with a circular geometry to be mounted inside a space envelope having a similar circular geometry formed on an end-plate between an inner hub portion and a peripheral portion that extends circumferentially around the space envelope of the end-plate.
Machine slip and direction sensing using flux gate sensor
11 May 21
Apparatus features a signal processor configured to receive signaling from a flux sensor containing information about a residual field from an electrical supply to a motor of a driven machine and a magnetic field from one or more rotating magnets placed on a rotating component of the driven machine; and determine corresponding signaling containing information about the operation of the driven machine, based upon a difference between an electrical supply frequency and a slip frequency determined from the signaling received and processed.
One-hand operable end fitting connector assembly
13 Apr 21
An end fitting connector assembly includes an end fitting having a first end, a second end and a through opening that extends in a direction that is transverse to an end fitting axis extending through the first and second ends and in which the through opening is defined by a peripheral wall.
Technique to detect motor leakage flux anomalies
13 Apr 21
A signal processor is configured to receive signaling containing information about a sensed sinusoidal waveform of magnetic flux caused by a current flowing in a winding of a motor having a component of distortion caused at least in part by a magnetic flux created by the current flowing, and also about a pure sinusoidal waveform of a sensed fundamental frequency of the magnetic flux; and determine corresponding signaling containing information about anomalies in the motor that depends on a relationship between the sensed sinusoidal waveform and the pure sinusoid waveform, based upon the signaling received.
